Serial Controllers
DPT NC

The Network Controller is used as a master to poll other modules and can do logic on the data. The NC2 can communicate RS 232/RS 485 on one port and RS 232/RS 485 on the other. The data can be accessed from a PC, DCS or PLC

DPT ETHC

The Ethernet Controller is used as a Master to poll other modules on a RS485 network and connect to the LAN at the same time. The data can be accessed from a PC, DCS or PLC

DPT CMC

The Cell Modem Controller is used as a Master to Poll other modules and do logic on the data. The CMC can communicate RS232/RS485 on one port and send a SMS on the other port to a Cell phone. The data can also be accessed from a PC, DCS, or PLC on the RS232/RS485 port. The CMC can also receive a SMS from a Cell phone. The SMS can then be translated and control can be done accordingly.

The RS485 Repeater is used to repeat RS485 signals from one node to a next where distance exceeds the maximum distance allowed between nodes usually 1.2 km when 36 nodes are present for Remcon products.

DPT SER-ETH

The Serial to Ethernet Transparent link usually consists of at least two SER-ETH modules. A computer or NC can connect thru the serial port vie RS232/RS485 and all data is transferred over Ethernet and back to serial thru the link. The module is fully plug-n-play no need for configuration.
