South Africa-based Booyco Electronics is now in a strategic collaboration with technology systems integrator Ramjack Technology Solutions. Working together the companies will assist mines in integrating their PDS effectively, in the interests of greater safety and productivity.

Booyco Electronics’ CXS proximity detection systems (PDS) have been installed on a surface gold mine in Chile, South America. The installation follows a demanding test phase which confirmed the customer’s trust in the technology. The project was carried out in collaboration with Booyco Electronics’ distributor in the region – mining and industrial technology company Insucam.

Booyco Electronics is seeing enthusiastic uptake of its home-grown Proximity Detection System (PDS) technologies and is making rapid headway in growing its global footprint.
